Booking Policy For permanent bookings there is a full session rate. If a child attends who has not been booked in outside of 24 hours a casual rate will apply. Where a child is booked in and either does not attend or cancellation is within 24 hours a non- attendance/late cancellation charge will apply. In vacation periods bookings are essential due to maximum numbers the centre can hold. A non-attendance/late cancellation charge applies for non-attendance or cancellation within 24 hours. In the event of a day including an excursion or incursion, a week’s notice (7 days) is required. Please note that cancellations must be made in writing to the Centre Coordinator via email to: [email protected] Payment of Fees Parents/Carers will receive a 2 weekly invoice, prompt payment is always appreciated. Late Fees 6 hildren must be collected by 6.00pm at the latest. Parents/Carers who do not collect their child/ren by this time will incur a late fee of $12 for every 5 minutes. In the event of an emergency we would ask that you ring the Centre and inform us of the difficulty (late fee will still apply). their Parents/Carers or the nominated person(s) as indicated on the enrolment form. Parents/Carers may pick up their child/ren any time before 6.00pm. Centre Access Parents/Carers responsible on the day for an enrolled child may have access to the Centre at any reasonable time. Programs and Activities The Centre follows the National Quality Framework which is designed to ensure that each child is given the best possible start in life. It lists quality standards to improve education and care across the wide range of services which offer childcare. The aim of this is to provide greater individual care and attention for children; better support for learning and development, increased skills and qualifications for educators and staff and a new rating for the different aspects of childcare. Implemented and managed by ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education & Care Authority), all services are required to follow this framework. There are also outcomes for children who use the service which appear through the My Time, Our Place element of the framework, these being: • Children have a strong sense of identity • Children are connected with and contribute to their world Collection Arrangements • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing Parents/Carers must come into the Centre to drop off and pick up their child/ren. Children will only be released into the care of • Children are confident and involved learners • Children are effective communicators
