OurVoice: What did you expect to gain by competing in pageantry aside from winning and were those goals met?
Amira Tiratzo: I wanted to put myself out there, step outside of my comfort zone. I'm a very quiet low key type of person and I wanted to prove to myself that I can step out of my shell, meet new people and have a great time. I sure did meet that goal, now I fully know I'm capable of super outgoing.
OurVoice: Since you have been crowned the winner Miss Greek 2014 what are the expectations of a Miss Greek?
Amira Tiratzo: For me personally I really hope to promote unity within the community. I would like to use this title to bring us all together fraternities included.
OurVoice: What does being Miss Greek 2014 mean to you?
Amira Tiratzo: Means that I have the opportunity to share with the Greeks how awesome my sisters are. How close we are, giving others the chance to see it’s possible to create real bonds in SL that go further than just the grid.
OurVoice: What did you learn about yourself during the competition?
Amira Tiratzo: I'm very competitive (LOL), I had no idea because I have never been in any type of competition before. It was all in fun but I gave my all in every single task and in the live rounds. I put my best foot forward and went with my best stuff.
OurVoice: What would you have done differently knowing what you’ve experienced during the process of the competition?
Amira Tiratzo: I don’t think I would have done anything different, I stayed true to myself throughout the competition and that was something I truly wanted to do.
