HEARING CARE EAR WAX REMOVAL BY MICRO SUCTION Ear wax is naturally produced by the glands in the first third of your ear canal, to lubricate and protect the skin in your ears. Sometimes it can build up in your ears which can be irksome and affect your hearing. Why you should have ear wax removed professionally: It is not advisable to clear ear wax by using cotton buds, as this often pushes it towards the eardrum and can be even more problematic; the lining of the ear is very delicate and can easily be damaged! We offer simple and effective ear wax removal services. This is done using specialist equipment to gently remove wax from the ear canal. We remove wax using three different methods: manual removal, micro- suction and irrigation. Video imagery is used so you can see before and after. It is painless and usually takes under 20 minutes to do. It is normally advisable to use olive oil prior to your visit. Home Visits: Our staff are also able to attend to you in your own home or workplace. There is a slightly higher charge made, dependent on location. Free 2nd appointment if advised: If it is not safe to remove excess ear wax on day 1, or if our clinician advises that the removal should be done over two sessions, then the second session is not chargeable.
