OSF Care-A-Van
OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center ’ s Community Resource Center Manager Jake Ozier said the purpose of OSF ’ s mobile Care-A-Van is to improve access to important community health services such as health screenings , wellness services and health education . “( It ’ s ) another tool and piece to that Mission of how can we get out and serve the underserved ,” Ozier said . During the last two years , the Care-A-Van has provided health education and screenings in the community and at community events , and electronic medical records to see and document patients and partner with the medical group are being installed .
The Care-A-Van can be seen at family First Friday events in downtown Danville and elsewhere .
