TNP ANNOUNCE THE 4TH GIBRALTAR SUSTAINABLE AWARDS
Local environmental NGO , The Nautilus Project has announced they will once again host the Gibraltar Sustainable Awards in collaboration with the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses ( GFSB ).
The awards are now entering their fourth consecutive year and following the success of the last three years , TNP will continue celebrating local businesses and organisations that have implemented green initiatives . The theme for 2022 is Conserve What Our Children Deserve , and submissions are open to any local business , organisation , club or charity that has implemented green initiatives , including minimising their carbon and plastic footprint .
The following categories will apply ; Flora and fauna , energy conservation , water conservation , waste management , environment , pollution and climate change . Examples of green initiatives include ( but are not limited to ): Awarded the most TNP certificates since accreditations began , implemented Energy Saving practices , cutback on single-use plastics , recycling within the workplace , reduction in CO2 emissions , sustainability within the workplace .
In a press release , TNP went on to say ; “ Last years ’ twelve finalists were a true testament to the diverse representation on how the Gibraltarian community is engaging with our environment . We trust that this year is yet to supersede .”
The awards ceremony is set to take place on World Energy Efficiency Day on 5th October 2022 . The deadline for entries is Wednesday 31st August 2022 ( by the end of the working day ). Entries should be submitted via a PowerPoint presentation to info @ thenautilusproject . co on or before the above date .

La ONG medioambiental local The Nautilus Project ha anunciado que volverá a organizar los Premios a la Sostenibilidad de Gibraltar en colaboración con la Federación de Pequeñas Empresas de Gibraltar ( GFSB ).
Los premios entran ahora en su cuarto año consecutivo y , tras el éxito de los últimos tres años , TNP continuará celebrando a las empresas y organizaciones locales que han implementado iniciativas verdes . El tema de 2022 es “ Conservar lo que nuestros niños merecen ”, y las candidaturas están abiertas a cualquier empresa , organización , club u organización benéfica local que haya llevado a cabo iniciativas ecológicas , incluida la reducción de su huella de carbono y de plástico .
