An exciting opportunity for a full time OT Practitioner post with Jersey Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team , CRHTT .
The CRHTT Service provides intensive support for people experiencing mental health related crisis and offers alternatives to in-patient care . The CRHTT works collaboratively with other mental health service providers on the island and is committed to providing care for service users and their families / carers within the least restrictive environment .
Interested individuals will be expected to be enthusiastic , have a flexible approach to work and be committed to the working ethos of the CRHTT model .
The Team operates a shift system covering 24 hours 7 days per week . You will also be required to work as part of the unscheduled care provision that provides mental health assessments for adults .

Within the team are a hospital liaison service , a home treatment service and a community triage service . We are also keen to imminently open up a phone line service available 24 / 7 to all adults who live on the island .
Applicants will need significant experience of working in the adult mental health setting and will require an excellent knowledge of current issue relating to mental health , crisis intervention and home treatment .
Comprehensive Assessment , Risk Assessment and Management skills are essential , as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills . The ability to manage time and prioritize workload is fundamental to effective service delivery as is the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner . IT skills and competence are essential .
