The support from the wider team has been invaluable in implementing this way of working to facilitate integrated groups . Adopting this approach has enabled the multidisciplinary team to think creatively utilising the skillsets of each discipline to develop and deliver groups , while adapting flexible approaches to meet service user needs .
The multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Raglan House will aim to continue to deliver need-specific integrated multidisciplinary team interventions in the future .
• Introduction of risk related scenarios to measure the effectiveness of group content .
• Understanding core beliefs and their role in relation to unhealthy relationships leading to informing psychological formulations .
• Exploring perpetuating factors contributing to initiation and maintenance of unhealthy relationships .
• Devising risk management toolkits to promote safe relationships .
• Exploring emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills .
• Use of pre- and post-measures to measure the effectiveness of groups .
• Providing a safe and containing environment to create therapeutic cooperation , facilitating discussions when relating exercises to real life experiences .
