Are you an adventurous Occupational Therapist looking for both a fresh career challenge , and a better quality of life ? Here at Shetland Islands Council we have a job for someone just like you .
In a challenging and varied role , you will have opportunities to assist in providing a specialist service to people in the community who are experiencing mental and physical disabilities , to enable them to live as independently as possible with optimal functional performance . This includes offering interventions and triage aimed at enhancing function , preventing deterioration and the provision of specialist aids and adaptations . But there is more to Shetland than this . Extremely high standards of living : fantastic schools , a state of the art cinema and arts centre and unparalleled access to sporting facilities are all things Shetlanders enjoy .
