Band 6 – £ 33,072 to £ 40,736 per annum Plus £ 1,117 Distant Island Allowance per annum 37.5 Hours per week Fixed Term Contract / Secondment for 18 months
Do you have what it takes to develop and drive an Occupational Therapy Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service forward ?
Our service in the Western Isles needs a highly motivated and experienced OT in the field of Children and Adolescent Mental Health to support our current OT CAMHs service . We are looking for someone with a special interest in assessment and treatment of neuro- developmental disorders working across all tiers of the service . This will also include being part of Social Communication Team as the CAMHs link . Transitioning of young people with mental health difficulties towards independence and adult service supports will also be a main feature of the role .
While working as an autonomous practitioner you will be well supported by an experienced team , working collaboratively with colleagues within the Children and Adolescent Mental Health team , and the Occupational therapy team . The OT Services Manager will provide professional leadership , supervision and ensure specialist mentoring is available to continue developing your portfolio of knowledge and skills .
