Trusted assessor training: Simple aids of daily living,
level two or level three
DOTS Disability CIC
This two-day OCN London accredited course provides
competence and confidence to enable staff to assess for,
prescribe and install (simple aids of daily living) equipment. Our
training was developed with funding from the Office for Disability
Issues. We are able to offer training to groups from our Dorset or
London venue, or at your venues around the country. Venue: The

Hypermobility/Ehlers Danlos syndrome in adults and
children: Clinical assessment and management
NCORE
Trainer: Alison Middleditch. This course will provide participants
with the opportunity to review and discuss the assessment
treatment and management of Joint Hypermobility syndrome/
Ehlers Danlos syndrome. This will be within a functional framework
and based on the best of the latest evidence. The course will
consider hypermobility in all groups, including those with a late
diagnosis and those with complex problems. CPD: 7 hours.

Masterclass: Handwriting difficulties in children – a
look at the evidence for assessment and intervention
from EYFS to Key Stage 3
Facilitated by Dr Mellissa Prunty this masterclass is aimed at
occupational therapists working with children with handwriting
difficulties on their case loads. Sessions will cover evidenced based
assessments and interventions for early writers, the complexity of
handwriting difficulties in different populations of children and

Expert assessments for Blue Badges
Access Independent
Starts at 10am, finishes at 1pm. The course will enable you to
undertake assessments of applicants for Blue Badges and
concessionary travel passes under the walking and hidden
disabilities criteria. Suitable for remote and face-to-face
assessments and for occupational therapists and admin
assessors. Recent actual real life case studies included. Delivered
