M illie Robinson first encountered Home Group when job hunting as a second-year occupational therapy student in the summer of 2020 . She says : ‘ I was stuck at home , mid-summer , bored and broke ( thanks to the pandemic ), seeking a part-time job to substitute my maintenance loan .

‘ When I initially came across the job advertisement , I was intrigued . Truthfully , I didn ’ t really know what a housing association was , but the concept of working as a support worker to assist those in need was of course very appealing to me as an occupational therapy student .’
She goes on : ‘ I did some digging and found that the company supplies housing across the country , both privately and for those who require supported accommodation . As an occupational therapist in training , the thought of being able to assist people to live a fulfilling life before actually qualifying , through working as a support worker , and gaining paid
