and worked in many regions including Northern, Western, North Eastern, Southern. I have also worked in Afghanistan for implementing a GOI project for bringing power from Uzbekistan to Kabul. Then I took charge as Executive Director in 2011. Basically, I am Civil Engineering graduate but after I joined in Power Sector; I registered and qualified in Power Systems.
Can you tell us more about your contribution to Industries and your area of Expertise? Power Grid( or) NTPC are basically is in the power sector, I have been in transmission sector building sub stations, establishing the national grids. In the last five years, I have headed the Southern Region and completed the National Grid by connecting the new grid to southern grid. This has helped in bringing cheaper power to south. Power, today is available at Rs 2.20 to Rs 2.40 mainly due to this project. I feel this as the greatest Contribution I could made to Southern India. Today the Inter regional capacity of our Southern Region is more than 6000 MW and Telangana State would get 2000 M Watts in next three to four months due to our current projects in Nizamabad, Dichpally and Maheswaram. the behavioral aspects of the students. Along with Engineering subjects there should be stress on the shaping the attitude of students and they should be trained for placement.
