Sampson Theodore Cherla , Chief Systems Manager , Center for Railway Information Systems ( CRIS ). He has been working with Indian Railways for the past 27 years and is instrumental for the design and development of Passenger Reservation System ( PRS ) . He is the Country head for Accounts Module of Passenger Reservation System , Project head for development of Mobile Ticketing Application and heads Indian Railways Disaster Management team . He is a recipient of Vishisht Seva Awards ( Ministry of Railways - 2006 , 2007 , 2014 , and 2015 ) and Railway Ministry Award ( 2016 ) for his dedicated and excellent service . He began his association with Osmania University as a Bachelor ’ s student in Electrical Engineering ( 1984 ). He pursued his Master ’ s in Business Administration from Osmania University and was a University ranker in ( 1986 ). His interests include wildlife photography and travelling to India ’ s National Reserve Parks . He is also an avid reader of philosophy . He guided and mentored many youngsters and was instrumental in many induction programs for young engineers . He dreams of the alumni giving an impetus to the next generation of Engineers .
