The students from years 5 and 6 had prepared scripts for a television news bulletin and became journalists by recording their work in the academy innovation room, using the green screen technology to put themselves in a news room and report from a variety of locations. Students learned about
production and post-production and took on roles in recording, controlling the auto cue and working the microphone.
The work students had completed prior to their visit showed how hard they has worked in their groups and their effort and behaviour in working together to complete high quality pieces of work was
very impressive.
