Interesting lot. – CHILE & MEXICO – 941 1850-2010 MOSTLY EPHEMERA ACCUMULATION .... $300-400 Large ephemera accumulation, with a wide variety of material, in a number of storage boxes. Apart from a small US Penny Collection, it’s all paper, mostly USA, but other areas as well. The Penny collection is a 2-volume ‘Lincoln Bicentennial Coin Collection’ with approximately 45 panels per book, each with two Lincoln pennies from a given year along with text and illustrations of events of that year. Starts with 1919, then 1930, 1934, 1937, 1942, etc to 2010. Balance of the accumulation is paper ephemera, with tourist and exposition guidebooks such as 1893 Rand, McNally ‘Guide to the World’s Fair,’ Official Guide Book to 1933 Chicago World’s Fair, old (1930s-60s) guide books to England, Scotland, Jaipur and many others; a wooden nickel collection (approximately 100); ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ script signed by cast members; advertisements; old theater programs; a 1960 Lionel catalog; saw some railroad photos; maps including c. 1850 map of Chile (three 19"x11" sheets); saw a 1953 White House pass; much more.
