COUNTERFEIT SHEET ............................................. PH $3000
Extremely RARE complete sheet of 100 postal counterfeits on
thin, shiny paper with glossy gum (perf 12½) with lower left

lithography rather than line engraving and were supposedly
prepared from coil stamps (although this doesn’t make sense
with plate number and electric eye markings). Few trivial edge
perforation separations and one stamp with tear (right margin,
row 5). Absolute show-stopping item with tremendous appeal.
MINT never hinged, but some spotting on gum, as normally
encountered. Catalog is for plate block and singles. Cat $8200.
$125
Top plate block of 8 (black plate #F 20452, red #F 20489).
