MARCOLIN RENEWS AGREEMENT
WITH GUESS WESTGROUPE CANADIAN
DISTRIBUTOR FOR ZEISS EYEWEAR
Marcolin Group and GUESS have announced the early
renewal of an exclusive license agreement for the design,
manufacture and worldwide distribution of GUESS and
Marciano sunglasses and eyeglasses. WestGroupe is now offering the premium ZEISS
Eyewear brand to the Canadian optical market.
The license agreement is extended until 2025, consolidating
a partnership and a synergy between the two groups,
which has lasted for over25 years.
“GUESS, one of the most iconic and distinctive lifestyle
brands in the fashion industry, and Marcolin Group have
always shared an attention for the product’s quality with
an aim to keep up with times,” says Giovanni Zoppas,
executivevice-chairman of Marcolin Group.
The first collection, which launched in January,
features 14 styles for men and women, with a selection
of full-rim, semi-rim and rimless styles constructed
in Titanium, Beta-Titanium and TX5 materials.
ZEISS has over 100 years of expertise in manufac-
turing & cutting-edge technology in both lenses and
design. The eyewear collection is the perfect
complement to ZEISS’ experience in pioneering
customized lenses. Combining frames with lenses,
customers can now have the complete
ZEISS experience.
