Low Cost/No Cost Maintenance Education
When it comes to maintenance teams, we often take it for granted that they
have what they need to get a job done. And while most often they may have the
tools, materials and parts to fix a problem, there are times when the experience
or expertise might not be there.
Technology has changed our world, not only in the way we
communicate, but also how our appliances and fixtures
function. As our communities evolve, so must our
maintenance teams. And yet, many companies don’t place a
priority on maintenance education.

Sometimes cost can be an issue, but often times it is a
matter of time allocation. Just because a maintenance
tech is in training one day doesn’t mean the service
requests or turns stop. The first step is for organizations
to make it a priority to equip their maintenance teams
with the most current knowledge. By making it a
priority, teams will be required to make the time.
