Ata is a Senior Vice
President of Lockton
(MENA) Ltd which is
headquarted in the DIFC.
He started his career
in the London market
working with several
Lloyds brokers and
brings with him specialist
experience in Offshore
and Onshore Energy.
Ata first joined Lockton in
the London office and moved soon after to help set
up the Dubai office. He currently leads the broking
team and corporate development for Lockton MENA.
Andrew is an accredited
European Loss Adjusting
Expert and a member of
the Energy Institute.
Andrew is a past President
of the Chartered Institute
of Loss Adjusters. He was
also a member of the core
team of the Insurance
Institute of London’s
Advance Study Group on
Business Interruption.
Andrew has handled some of the biggest claims
in the London Market in recent years and has
experience in handling claims in the metals,
energy, power, construction and leisure sectors.
David Leich

David Leich has been working in
the power industry for over 30 years
following graduating from Birmingham
University. He is British and a Fellow of
the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
David’s career includes; nuclear power
plant operations and engineering,
energy trading, gas turbine maintenance,
coal import terminal construction,
coal logistics and trading, coal plant
operations, maintenance and engineering
and management, M&A, CCGT power
plant construction and management.
David has worked in the UK, Kazakhstan,
Thailand and Dubai. He has worked for
CEGB, National Power, International
Power, GDF Suez and now Engie.
David moved to Dubai in January
2015, to take up the role of Head of
Construction for SAMEA (South Asia,
Middle East and Africa). From January
2016, David was appointed by Engie the
twin roles of Chief Technical Officer
for MESCAT (Middle East, South and
Central Asia and Turkey) and also
Chief Construction Officer for Africa.
