CONFERENCE SPEAKERS Andrea Vigo Assistant Treasurer and Corporate Risk Manager, Executive Director – Sadara Chemical Company [email protected] Andrea Vigo joined Sadara in Nov 2014 as a Dow Chemical Secondee and he is currently the Assistant Treasurer. In this role he has been instrumental in developing the Treasury Department organization, strategy and operational processes to support Sadara moving from a construction to an operational phase. As Corporate Risk Manager Andrea is responsible for managing the credit risk, financial risk (interest rate and FX) and insurance for the company. Andrea joined Dow in 2005 in the Customer Financial Services group within Treasury as a Credit Manager. In January 2009, Andrea joined the Corporate Risk Group as Financial Risk Manager in the Treasury Department, and was responsible for managing the daily global liquidity, FX exposure and the hedging strategy. Andrea was also responsible for managing the Dow Agroscience soft commodity and grains hedging program. In November 2011 Andrea assumed the role of Director in the Corporate M&A Group. He was responsible for supporting the Dow Corporate strategy and portfolio optimization via acquisition, divestiture and JV. Prior joining DOW, Andrea worked as Management Strategy Consultant in various firms in Italy. Adam Wakeley Senior Vice President – Dubai Energy hub leader [email protected] Adam is the Dubai Energy hub leader, responsible for all Energy business in the MENA region. He oversees market placement, client service, engineering and operations. He has been based in Dubai since 2007, where he was tasked with setting up and running the Energy placement team. He has been extremely influential in the development of that market, seeing it grow from around $500m of capacity in 2007 to over $2,500m today. As head of energy market placement, he set and executed the strategies for construction, upstream, downstream, liability and political violence accounts. He has also developed the hub into an extremely successful wholesale placement resource for global accounts in addition to the retail work for regional clients. He has been with Marsh since 2002 having joined on the graduate scheme. Prior to his move to the Middle East, he spent five years working in London as a specialist on the Onshore placement team. During this time he was heavily involved in a diverse range of global downstream business. Additionally he was responsible for placing all of Marsh Energy’s political violence risks. Adam was also seconded to the Marsh Global Markets Construction broking team. 15
