2014 Objectives:
We are looking to develop an attractive and attacking style of play which utilises the natural
strengths of our players.
The whole women’s program is expanding, so hopefully the senior squad can lead by example for the other teams and develop a good club culture.
New Players Signed:
Our squad remains fairly unchanged from last season, however we have managed to pickup Kailey Jane who has previously played in the American College system. She has been a very positive influence on the players with her professional mindset and her advanced technical ability.
Players Lost:
Mikalha George and Michelle Tadros will be leaving us to travel overseas
Players to look out for:
Each girl in the squad has been showing great talent in their position, with all the players improving constantly.
In particular Ellisa Bowditch is showing great potential as a goalkeeper, and is rapidly improving in this role.
Isabel Hoysted and Erica de Jong are going from strength to strength as a leaders and as a centre backs.
All of our under 20’s players, some being former NTC players, are showing excellent ability and high levels of fitness. They will be critical for us throughout the season.
Order of Finish:
(Orgiginal conmtent published in this section was incorrect)
I did not coach last season so I am not in a position to comment on this. However, I would assume
Zebras and Olympia would be the favourites.
