While Zebras had plenty of possession they were unable to break down the Olympia defence and often over committed leaving ample space in the middle of the park for the likes of Alex Bellini and Nick Meredith to structure a counter attack.
Add to that the composure of Dmitri Nester in goals for Olympia who was often bought in to the play to subdue any Zebras forward pressure Olympia were just about unbreakable in defence.
As the game looked to peter out a moment of individual brilliance by Wadawu gave Olympia insurance on their already dominate position.
Wadawu received the ball just inside the box before he somehow danced
around three Zebras defenders in close proximity and struck the ball past
Matthew Ferguson from a tight angle.
Zebras had a number of players who sold their club and supports short on the day but the likes of joshua Fielding and Kurt Engles where positives out of what was a disapponting finish for Zebras.
This was enough to give Olympia the win and give their vocal supports something to get excited about for the upcoming Victory League season.
