UAB OPENS PROTON THERAPY,
INFUSION THERAPY FACILITIES
Two new therapy clinics were recently opened at UAB in
order to provide patients with the most advanced and
effective research-driven cancer care: In November 2019,
UAB opened a new, state-of-the-art infusion therapy clinic,
the largest one of its kind in the state of Alabama, and in
January 2020, opened the state’s first proton therapy center.
