BMF Training Programmes
OFTEN, new members of the BMF point to the BMF’ s comprehensive staff training programmes as one of the key reasons why they decided to join the BMF. This comes as no great surprise, as the BMF has always sought to provide its members, both merchants and suppliers, with the very best choice of targeted training courses delivered by industry specialists.
As new technologies and our members’ needs have evolved, we now offer many of our courses with easy online or hybrid access, in addition to the more traditional classroom format. Courses can be made bespoke to your business needs, be delivered regionally in your own local area where your people can network and share experiences with other BMF members, or they can even be held at your premises.
Why use BMF Training Courses to develop your people? Evidence consistently shows that investment in training delivers tangible business benefits. Previous research found that 75 % of employers believe developing existing staff is more beneficial than recruiting externally, while half reported better employee retention and almost half said training ultimately saved money.
The building materials sector thrives on skilled, knowledgeable people and attracting and developing talent is critical for long-term success.
As we countdown towards the launch of our all-new BMF Training Prospectus( due for launch later this Autumn), over the next few issues of One Voice, we will seek to highlight some of our most popular training courses.
