Ling Chun
“Food is a necessity of life; it also represents one’s cultural identity through the
ritual of eating. I create food objects that specifically present cultural icons:
chicken feet, dumplings, fortunes cookies, and soup spoons. The simple repetition
of these objects is part of my ritual of art making and speaks to the complexity of
my cultural identity.” —L. Chun
