A f t e r t h e e n d o f W o r l d W a r I I, t h e c r y p t w a s f l o o d e d w i t h w a t e r- t h e d a m a g e h a d t o b e r e p a i r e d a g a i n. F i n a l l y, i n 1 9 7 7, e l e c t r i c l i g h t w a s i n t r o d u c e d, e l i m i n a t i n g t h e d a m a g e t o t h e c o f f i n s a n d o p e n i n g t h e c r y p t.
