beauty trends
This is my last step every time with my
makeup routine and so imperative in
achieving that matte look without
appearing cakey.
Bare Escentuals Kabuki Brush or Morphe
Jumbo Powder Dome C107 and range for
$5 - $28.
Beauty Blender
If you remember my article from last year, a
beauty blender is an invaluable addition to
your collection. You can use it to apply a
light coat of concealer, smooth out your
contour or even apply your foundation.
They are easy to clean and should last at
least three months (depending on use).
Go for the Original Beauty Blender, Real
Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, or
Limelight by Alcone’s Blenderful ranging
from $8-20.
Liner Brush
If you struggle with applying liquid eyeliner
(yes – I’m guilty of it!), add a liner brush to
your collection. Use it to apply powder as
liner, smooth out your liquid liner or to fill
in your brows with powder (just make sure
it’s clean and you are not applying black
powder in blonde eyebrows).
My favorite is the Small Angle E.L.F. Liner
Brush and is a steal at just $3.
Don’t forget to keep your tools clean! It is
imperative to clean every one to two weeks
to prevent the accumulation of bacteria
which can lead to an increase in breakouts
or at worst, infections of the eye.
