5 MUST HAVE BEAUTY TOOLS If there is one product you shouldn’t feel guilty to splurge on, it is hands down your beauty tools. You will not only have a truer quality of color from your cosmetic of choice but, a softer and less noticeable application. Here’s my five MUST HAVES: Lash Brush/Comb It’s imperative to find a brush that has metal NOT plastic teeth. Plastic teeth will bend and do not properly separate your lashes. Use the brush prior to mascara application and after your mascara dries to remove clumps. Be sure to clean the lash brush with soap and water at least after two to three uses to avoid the spread of bacteria. ‘Lash Off Lift’ Comb by Sephora or the Tweezerman’I-Lash Comb) are a worthy investment at just $10-12. Blending Brush This is hands down my go to multi-use tool. Blending brushes are perfect for applying that neutral mid-brow bone color, softly adding color to your lower lid line and for adding shade to your nose and cheek contour. This is the secret to preventing harsh lines on your eyes and face. The most popular among beauty lovers are the Sigma E40 and the Morphe M330 and range from $5-16. Powder Brush Ultra-important for that final coat of setting or translucent powder. You need to look for a brush that is soft to the touch and does not have tightly packed hairs.
