Since 2004 , Red Bull Romaniacs has provided competitors five days of breathtaking views of the mountainous wilderness of the Carpathian Mountains in Romania , albeit among some of the toughest hard-enduro riding out there . Despite taking an eleventh-place finish in the prologue , Graham Jarvis would top the remaining four days of competition on his Husqvarna TE300i to finish on top of the podium , marking his seventh win in Romania and comfortably keeping him the winningest rider at this event since its inception .
“ It ’ s such an incredible feeling to win Red Bull Romaniacs again ,” said Jarvis . “ I ’ ve done it seven times now ; I don ’ t know what to say ! In a race like this it takes a lot of effort all week to be there every day and I managed that . After last year ’ s knee injury , I wasn ’ t sure how well I ’ d come back and if I ’ d be competitive again . It ’ s been a full year ’ s work , but I ’ ve done it . Not just getting back on the podium , but the top step too .
