This event was double-booked with the opening rounds of the AMA NATC Mototrials National Series , in which Forsley also competes . Ultimately , Forsley chose to race the Enduro series to help gain points towards the championship . Forsley and Kylee Sweeten would have a fierce battle in the largest Women ’ s Pro class of the series to date , with eight women competing .
Forsley had a minor set-back ; while helping another rider , she nearly sliced the tip of her finger off . After getting necessary medical attention , she was back on course . Sweeten would take the win with Forsley finishing only less than two minutes behind . Dayne Toney would round out the podium on her Husqvarna .
“ I managed to get my first Women ’ s Pro win ,” said Sweeten . “ Sunday ’ s race was tough and bottlenecks made it impossible to have a steady pace , so I only made it to checkpoint one , but I ’ m happy with my riding and had a blast on the course !”
