that really speak to the work the DILFs are doing for fathers on the Central Coast and around Australia. The DILFs have recently kicked off an original, local initiative to provide new Dads with a gift pack for life as a father – they call it the ‘Dilfpack’. The initiative promotes the Central Coast’s diverse local businesses and gives new fathers something they can laugh at and enjoy. It includes an invite to connect with other Coastie Dads in DILF Club, as well as burger, mexican, beer, coffee and barber vouchers from local businesses. The guys have even thrown a few other funny surprises in to give new Dads a laugh in a routinely stressful and overwhelming time. Their DILF Club merchandise and apparel – which includes a very sleak thermal travel mug – is available for purchase online and at the regular hangouts. It’s a portion of these sales that fund the #dilfpack initiative. Genius. If you’re a Mum who’s back in the workforce or simply needs a break, and you have a husband or partner looking to catch up with other like-minded Coastie Dads, the DILF Club is the place for him to check out. Their informal hangouts over a coffee in kid-friendly locations provide Fathers a chance for maximum Dad-joke telling, and kids with maximum room to remain clear of said Dad-jokes. Wet weather options for all locations mean they’re always around for a coffee and a chin-wag. It’s free, informal, very relaxed and gets all of them out of the house – so what’s your excuse Dad? So, the next time you pass one of these #menwhomultitask at the shop or park juggling groceries, nappybags and toddlers, give him a smile, tell him he’s doing a good job and be proud of the new generation of competent, supportive and connected Fathers being harvested right here on the Central Coast; lets be honest it’s the most satisfying, worthwhile job you can do.
