Welcome to the June issue of on the button magazine. I have been
overwhelmed by the great comments and kind words from all over.
The latest online magazine has some differences but most of the
previous features and regulars remain in the same format.
In this month’s issue you will find Church notices and information
on page 4. Arlesey Town Council news is on page 7.
On page 10 the Archive Group have supplied some images and a
brief history of the brickworks around Arlesey.
Richard’s new Relic is on page 11 and although you can read what
the object is can you describe what it is used for?
On page 12 is a feature on Stotfold Water Mill with a look around the
inside cortesy of Roger Watson.
On page 14 Rosalyn Knight writes the first in a series of insights into
patients from Three Counties Asylum. This month is ‘Prosoner X16663
– Arthur William Everett
I would just like to say so many thank yous to so many people.
Firstly to the many advertisers who have put adverts in the printed
magazine and still have these on the back issues online. Thank you
to everyone who has supplied content to go into the magazine and
each and every one of the deliverers wh o gave their time voluntarily to
deliver in all weathers. Finally a big thank you to my wife for the effort
every month to get the magazine out with me.
I hope if you are reading this now you will continue to look through
the pages every month as I will be finding content and putting into a
digital version there for all to read. Wherever you are.
