Gothic Mede Lower School: December
It was great to see so many of our young people, present and former students,
conducting themselves with such respect and dignity during the Service of
Remembrance at the War Memorial. A credit to their families and those of us
fortunate to work with them. Following this reflective occasion, it was straight
back into the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations at school. Each o f
the three key stages at school will be performing a Christmas concert at the
end of term. We will also be taking part in the Mayor’s Christmas Concert. On
behalf of the children, staff and Governors of Gothic Mede, I should like to take
this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We
look forward to seeing you the new year!
We are all looking forward to the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 24th
November. This is open to all members of the community and we hope that
you will be able to join us. It’s a great opportunity to begin, or if you are really
organised, complete your Christmas shopping while helping to raise money for
the school.
