places within the District. He was joined at various stages by other Leaders.
There are now 14 Groups within our District. Neil walked to Stotfold, Fairfield

Town Council Vote?
Each year Town Councillors vote to elect a chairman, the process has to
follow statutory procedures. The Annual Meeting of Arlesey Town Council
took place on 13th May after being postponed by a week.
Commenting on the election Cllr Gursh Bains said “I voted for Cllr Mick
Holloway for chairmanship, due to the overwhelming support he has from
Arlesey residents; and a genuine belief that he has the time, energy and
passion to deliver changes to modernise the council to be more customer
focussed on delivering value added services; and provide effective challenge
to Central Bedfordshire Council on behalf of residents on the proposed
development of 1,000 homes in Arlesey and traveller site issues. I am informed
unlike his contender for chairmanship he is a full time resident of Arlesey.”
Since the meeting seven Arlesey Town Councillors have written to Chairman
Nick Daniels calling upon him to repeat the annual election for Chairman and
Vice Chairman at the next full Council meeting on Tuesday 1st July.
Councillors, Bains, Gravett, Hazelwood, Holloway, Page, Wang and Ward
