After this service, at 12.30 p.m. there will be a joint picnic with St.Peter’s
Church at Henlow Lakes, by kind permission of Mr. David Curson.

of Lower Stondon.

unday 27th July at 11.00 a.m. Rev Bob Forrest will conduct a service
of Holy Communion
On Saturday 5th July the Church will be taking part in the Village Fun Day
providing teas and there will also be a stall selling such things as figurines,
mugs, clocks and other items in new condition
.
All are welcome at these Services.

here are lots of indoor and outdoor events and we might not have room for
them all, but please check the ‘what’s on’ page on the website for events that
we can’t fit in or have missed our print deadline. Keep your articles and pictures
coming in. A big thank you to all our advertisers for supporting ‘on the button’ too,
our next issue will be number 24 making it two years old!!!
A new application for extra pitches has been lodged with CBC for the Twin
Acres Gypsy and Traveller site in Hitchin Road, more details are on page 4.
The Arlesey Remembers You project is going from strength to strength with
an update and breaking news on page 9.
A Candle Light Service is being organised by the Royal British Legion to mark
the 100th anniversary of the date Great Britain entered the first world war.
This will be held on 4th August at the war memorial – more details on page 8.
