Samaritans Purse
This is the third year we have been a part of the Samaritans Purse shoe
box collection and this year we were fortunate enough to partner with
Fairfield Community Church. Mitch and Neil came in and lead a truly
inspiration assembly on the what’s, why and details of shoeboxes, helped
by Bradley Recce and Jasmine Oliver from 6EM. In total we managed
to create 36 boxes, which was made even more fun as people could
contribute in different ways from whole boxes, items to go into a box
and even some donations of money to pay for the boxes we made up
in school. Thank you to EVERYONE who was involved, including those
of you who made shoeboxes and sent them to Samaritans Purse via a
different organisation.
On Friday 15th November we took part in supporting Children in Need.
We raised money in all sorts of ways; one of them being everyone came
in in non-school uniform. We had a cake sale and a popcorn sale. Every
year our school raises money for Children in Need and this year we raised
a total of £640 which added to the total of
