Another major role for me is the oversight of our budgeting process to determine how much will be distributed to each ministry partner . The overall budget is based on the faithful giving of our donors . Each year , our ministry partners submit requests for continuing ministry , expanding ministry or beginning a new ministry . The ECC leadership team evaluates these requests based on the commitment to church multiplication , sustainability and fruitfulness . The ongoing accountability to report progress about church planting is primarily reviewed from the Church Multiplication Registry ( CMR ). The CMR is used to determine the progress of the ministry and to provide appropriate coaching based on the results — to celebrate successes or to identify areas for improvement .
In November 2012 , One Mission Society announced a joint venture with Project WorldReach to steward the resources of both organizations to increase the use of Train & Multiply materials . ECC uses this training method , which is currently available in 35 languages , to prepare pastoral workers for church multiplication worldwide . The Train & Multiply joint venture will provide ways to accelerate the production of materials in new languages , which , in turn , will accelerate the training of more workers . Long term , we aspire to see online training available worldwide and to create online communities of practitioners based on a common language . ECC ’ s goal is twofold : to give every man , woman , boy and girl the opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ and to build communities of believers that bring glory to God . Our stewardship , as we manage the resources that God provides , is all about reflecting Revelation 7:9 : “ After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count , from every nation , tribe , people and language , standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb .”
