OMS’ Billion. Global nurtures cooperation in the global body of Christ. Through the combined work of 227 partners, more than one billion people worldwide were given the opportunity to hear, understand, and believe the Good News of Jesus during this 10-year initiative.
OMS’ Every Community for Christ is a church-planting ministry committed to equipping disciple-makers and church planters worldwide. New Village Church Planting, one of OMS’ most extensive training programs, equips village church planters across 37 African countries through more than 900 training centers. The goal is to plant a church in every African village by 2050.
OMS’ Theological Education( TE) serves the global church by raising up Spirit-led, biblically astute disciple-makers whose lives reflect God’ s holiness. TE primarily works through strategic partnerships with Bible colleges, seminaries, and ministry training institutes around the world and by equipping national partners and missionaries.
In 2025, 9 TE members served 38 schools across 27 countries by teaching intensive courses, offering consultations, mentoring and coaching leaders, providing needs assessments and training opportunities, serving as board members, and cultivating partnerships. TE celebrated 10,321 enrolled students and 1,488 graduates from those schools.
“ Your course, Spiritual Development, for me has been: consolation, support, a place of hope, and the space where God spoke to me. You were someone whose words brought light, peace, understanding, and healing. You helped me navigate the path of pain without bitterness, anger, resentment, or destructive questions. You helped me see God’ s hand in the chaos.” – Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary student in Estonia
OMS’ Hope61 equips the global church to prevent human trafficking in their communities while building bridges for sharing the Gospel. In 2025, the Hope61 team trained 6,024 people through 151 Engage trainings across 5 continents.
After a Hope61 Engage training in the Philippines, Pastor Willy approached us with tears in his eyes.“ I wish you had come sooner,” he said.“ We need this here.” He had heard too many stories of Filipinos leaving home for work, only to be exploited and ensnared in human trafficking, eventually returning home, but forever changed. His words confirmed what we already knew: the need was too great to walk away. So, we went back, training Filipino leaders to become Hope61 trainers who will continue equipping the local church to prevent human trafficking long after we are gone.
OMS’ World Intercessors( WI) serves as the hub of prayer and intercession for OMS missionaries and fields. Intercessors faithfully pray for the needs that arise on the mission field. WI prayer teams travel to OMS fields to pray with our missionaries and to prayer-walk in the areas where they minister. WI answers God’ s call to pray for all people, to help them, to intercede on their behalf, and to give thanks for them( 1 Timothy 2:1).
In 2025, WI sent prayer teams to 6 countries, led prayer training in the Philippines for 16 national leaders, provided monthly prayer resources for OMS, prayed with missionaries during Missionary Council and special training events( 60 + people), and more.
