On December 14 , members of OJCL from Cincinnati joined St . Vincent de Paul , a local charity organization , for their Christmas Together Toy Distribution . The event is designed to share donated toys with families who would otherwise be unable to provide gifts for their children over the holidays . The donated gifts ranged from board books to Barbie dolls to Bluetooth speakers ; there was something for everybody . SVDP had already registered around 200 families for the event , and a group of around 50 volunteers , including JCL students and sponsors , logged registered families , led families through the toy room , watched children while their parents shopped , and restocked the shelves of the shopping area . Volunteers found it to be a very rewarding experience and several hope to do it again next year , either with JCL or independently .
