Review:

Do I recommend this recipe? Yes. Do I recommend you make it without an extra cup of wheat flour? Also yes. If your final batter has a consistency that is not like a normal pancake batter, you need to start over. Probably because these are better than pancakes. After disposing of the massive glob of mistakes, I remade the pancakes, using the correct measurements. I cooked about 3 at a time, and most of them turned out round and unburnt. The cooked dough was thicker and less edgy than crepes, but thinner and more dense than your average pancake. After dousing them in honey and sesame seed, I dug in. They were scrumptious! I mean, they're pancakes covered in honey, so I wasn't super surprised. Some fresh fruit would help cut the sweetness, but the sesame seeds added a nice bite. These pancakes truly raised the bar for all ancient Roman recipes. They fully deserve their 9.5/ 10 ranking and I would absolutely recommend!
