- Fun Fact Presentations: older
students can pick a favorite historical or
mythological story and create a short, 5
point or lecture to share with the rest of
the club.
- Emperor Week: each JCLer picks an
emperor and creates a pamphlet or handout
describing their rule and what went on in the
empire during that time.
- Holidays: holiday activities are great whether modern or
Roman. Saturnalia parties with an arbitor bibendi for the fruit
punch is classic, and there is never a shortage of fun stories to
be shared. Lupercalia festivals can also bring some fun
activities and games after some research, which can also help
create word searches. Halloween is another fun time to do some
outreach and attach spooky Latin phrases to candy and hand
them out to elementary school kids.
