How did you bounce back from the negative publicity surrounding your divorce and in turn rebranding yourself?
I really just kept going. The media has a way of spinning things… I just kept moving forward. I stayed motivated with my craft, I wrote my book, and I got my product out there. I did the show with Atlanta Exes and I am doing my standup. I took a lot of interviews and kept pushing. I refused to be silent.
What were the fans reaction regarding your Vh1 Atlanta Exes exposure?
A lot of women reached out asking for advice and saying that I am such an inspiration to them. It is wonderful that I was able to use my story and things that I went through to help other women.
Tell us about Skimpy Mixers?
Skimpy Mixers is a low calorie drink mixer. Its gluten free, twenty calories per serving and made with real fruit juices. It is not like the other mixers with a lot of artificial flavoring in it. You can find the mixer in Walmart you can get it online at Skimpymixers.com. Me and the three other ladies who have partnered up to create this mixer, we did this because we notice that on the market there were a lot of mixers that were filled with calories, sugar, and by the time you mixed it with alcohol you were consuming about a good 600 to 700 calories for one drink.
