Gla mping Out at White Sands Holiday Haven in Huskisson
camping fills me with fear. The discomfort,
the dirt, the lack of creature comforts –
none of it appeals to me. So I was ecstatic
to experience 'glamping' firsthand.
Upon arrival to the White Sands Holiday
Haven Tourist Park in Huskisson, owners
Deb and John greeted us with immense
enthusiasm, showing us to an exquisitely
located campsite that overlooked the
endless, pristine white sands of Huskisson
beach.

MILK HAUS (www.milkhaus.com.au)
Kristy from Glamping Out had set up our
eye-catching tent and it was fully decked
out with luxurious offerings, including
plush beds with memory foam mattresses,
cushions, toiletries and towels, board
games and magazines, outdoor chairs and
beautiful rugs – all of which created an
experience that almost fooled us into
thinking we were in a five-star hotel.
Situated within the Shoalhaven Zoo, it is a
chance to see some of the animals from up
above while navigating through high ropes,
rope bridges, wooden obstacles and flying
foxes, and Australia’s first cliff edge
adventure.
We shared our pics of the Glamping Out
set up on Facebook and it got almost
20,000 views. So if you don't want to take
our word for it, you can trust the masses
when we say this is definitely something
you need to add to your bucketlist.
White Sands Holiday Haven is conveniently
located close to town, with a trail that
takes you right around the area it's an
enjoyable and easy commute to explore
the area. Plus, thanks to Jervis Bay Bike
Hire, that journey becomes a whole lot

Located in Woodstock, in a refurbished
cheese factory, the Milk Haus is an
unexpected haven for delicious whole
foods that deliver fresh, honest, simple
fare food, which is free of toxins,
preservatives and anything artificial.
Offering kombucha and organic meals that
will make you feel as good on the inside as
they look on the plate, it's well worth the
45-minute drive out of Huskisson to get
there. Make sure you explore the veggie
patch out the back, where the chefs source
their ingredients. Milk Haus is open for
