With the smell of freshly popped popcorn and Mr. Baker’s MC voice, it makes for a great game. Students walk in and out in a hurry so as to not get hit by the flying volleyballs and the game begins.

“YAY! Go Mr. Stone!!” as Mr. Stone does a somersault in the middle of the teachers victory/welcoming line. The teachers then put their game faces on and get into stance. Teachers are moving fast and diving for the ball, just one point behind the girls. The score is 8 to 7. As the game goes on the girls keep scoring up to 14 to 10, but the teachers put their game faces on moves up to 14 to 15. The girls spread out and bend their knees, now their diving for every ball. The ball bump set spikes back and forth and it comes to a tie. 23 to 23. The winning point. Students from the bleachers scream for the girls, “OVER!” and the ball drops, teachers when 24 to 23. Overcome with excitement Mr. Knot Jumps up in the air proud of their win.

Determined to win the next game, the girls are switched out with the boys and the teachers get into their stance. The boys serve first and ball bumps back they only let the ball drop 4 times and the score goes to 10 to 4. The score just rises from there. 14 to 5 and 17 to 6. The teachers bump set spike it back and forth until the boys reach the winning point 23. The ending score being, 23 to 8.

The students go wild! With a third game left the teachers look still undefeated. The third and final game will, according to Mr. Baker, give them bragging rights for the rest of the year. Team members from the volleyball team come to the bleachers and gets the crowd rallied up.

“LETS GO OWLS LETS GO!” the sound of claps and cheers fill up the room and the final battle begins. Boys and girls make it on to the court to play against the teachers ready for the ball. They let the ball drop twice giving the teachers points, but the students soon follow and the score being teachers 4 and the students 2. The score goes up and keeps going up. The students dive and fall for the ball, but the teachers when with a score of 21 to 12. Teachers jump up and down excited for the bragging rights they were prized with and goes to congratulate each student. They left the game with smiles.
