Arley arboretum - Near Bewdley
Formal gardens and woodlands to explore with a treasure trail and adventure playground. Kids go Free during KIDS GO FREE* during the Summer holidays – Join the for a Summer Safari with lots of animal themed activities, including a Mini Zoo and Pony Rides as well as 3 new Safari Trails throughout the holidays! Along with our Safari themed activities, Forestry Adventure Club will be back this summer! Some additional costs apply for certain activities.
Bodenham arboretum – North of Kidderminster
Nice walks and a mini farm but no play area. Prices depend on time of year but most expensive adult tickets are £6.50 and children under 5 are free. Fridays: Forest Fun. Under 5s, 1hr session.
Sandwell Park Farm – West Bromwich (right)
A great value for money place to visit as its only £2.50 for an adult ticket. See the pigs, sheep, chickens and horses and visit the walled garden. At the same site as Sandwell valley Country Park so between the 2 it’s a very full day out.
Take a train ride
Take a ride on a steam train and travel the tracks between Kiddeminster and Bridgnorth. Theres also a visitor education centre by the Highley station.
