CX and eCommerce
teams volunteers
at FareShare
In July, the Customer Experience and
eCommerce teams spent a day preparing
food with FareShare in Melbourne.
FareShare have Australia’s largest charity
kitchen and help those in challenging
situations who might be living on the streets,
with drug and alcohol abuse, or mental health
issues.
All food used in the kitchen has either been
grown by FareShare or rescued, helping to
make 5000 free meals every day for charities
such as soup vans, homeless shelters, women’s
refuges and community food banks.
Together, the teams made an impressive 2136
sausage rolls which provide much-needed
nutrition and sustenance to those in need
living on the street.
Beyond feeding hungry bellies, they had a lot
of fun working together and appreciating the
benefit that organisations like FareShare have
in our community.
