Our Purpose is important to all of us because the more we understand that we are not just selling a product, we are actually delivering solutions to all our stakeholders. We are helping them achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations that help make bigger things happen in their lives. We recently recognised examples of outstanding leadership through the Officeworks Awards, presented at the National Leadership Conference in August. Seeing so many inspiring examples of leadership in action, across both the Leadership Awards and Team of the Year Awards, was a real highlight for me. I would again like to congratulate all those teams who were recognised, particularly our National Store of the Year Marion (SA). Since the last edition of Pinpoint, we rolled out our new community involvement initiative, Round Up to Make a Difference (RUTMAD) with roaring success. We also completed our best ever Wall of Hands supporting the Australian Seeing so many Literacy & Numeracy inspiring examples Foundation while Restoring Australia has branched out of leadership in with more team member action, across both volunteering and planting sites. Add to this, the local the Leadership community involvement and Awards and Team in-store activity that happens of the Year Awards, on a weekly basis and it is clear we are committed to making was a real highlight a positive difference in the communities in which we work, for me. live and operate. There’s a lot to be excited about as we look towards the future so please keep up the excellent work as we all continue to live Our Purpose to help make bigger things happen for our team members, customers, communities, suppliers and shareholders.
