The initiative includes: • A printed Early Education brochure for Business Specialists to use when approaching early learning providers • A dedicated email communication to our existing buying group members • Face-to-face meetings Making it easy for customers to shop One of the key aspects of the initiative will be our new, bright and colourful Early Education brochure, which will create awareness of the Educational Resources range as well as showcase our education and environmental activity relating to their industry. For example, our partnership with The Smith Family and two-for-one tree planting initiative, Restoring Australia. Using the brochure and the website, business customers will be able to view the full range of products and services available across all categories, contact a business specialist or shop directly online. The brochure will work to highlight how Officeworks’ product range offers a total solution for their business – from Furniture and Educational Resources, through to classroom and staffroom supplies, and act as a great conversation starter and ‘leave behind’ for our Business Specialists. ‘For us, the goal is to build long-term relationships, and be able to support the customer as their needs morph and change. By building mutually- beneficial relationships we will be able to embed ourselves in their business and build sales,’ said Mark. This buying group initiative goes live in May and will be followed by additional initiatives to support more of our industry buying groups including the real estate industry, the accounting industry and more! ‘This will be a whole of business approach. Our team will get to know their needs and be able to recommend product, whether that’s the Educational Resources range, or Furniture or Office Supplies and loop in those specialists to provide a true partnership to the customer,’ said Mark. 11
