Q: How did dance impact your life growing up?
A: As a child, dance was a great way for me to express myself through movement as well as breakthrough my comfort zone and experience freedom in a creative format.
Q: Did your background in dance affect your choice to become a licensed professional counselor?
A: I always wanted to include dance as a form of therapy in my practice, but the main reason I chose my career was for the many avenues and opportunities it would provide me to work with people as well as have freedom of making my own work schedule to be available to my family.
Q: How do dance and mental/spiritual health relate?
A: Dance is an incredible way to release on Him wishes and open the heart, mind, and spirit. Through dance a person is able to not only explore personal growth and development but learn new ways to create, communicate, and release stress!
