Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) stars as Edith Cushing, a writer fascinated with the spirit world, who falls for the charms of Tom Hiddleston’s (Thor) Sir Thomas Sharpe, against the advice of her childhood friend, Dr. Alan McMichael – played by the always-cool Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim). She is swept away to Sharpe’s spooky house to escape the ghosts of her past, but runs into some real ones in a house that breathes and quite literally bleeds.
